Quick Start

Creating dashboards in Bricks is fast and easy. You can start from the Home screen, an existing Bricks file, or a blank file. Bricks uses AI to analyze your data and generate visual dashboards in seconds. Quick Flow
  • From Home: Go to Create with AI → Dashboard & Report, then import data or paste data. Click Generate to create a dashboard.
  • From an Existing File: Open the file → use Generate button or AI chat to create dashboards (single-sheet or multi-sheet).
  • From a Blank File: Import data or ask AI to generate sample data → create dashboards using post-import AI button or Generate flow.

Create from Home

From the Home screen, select Dashboard & Report from Create with AI section. This opens the AI dashboard creation flow where you can import data or paste data. Create AI Dashboards in Bricks from Home

With Imported Data

  • Select Dashboard & Report
  • Select Import a file and upload your file
  • Supported formats: .xlsx, .csv, .pdf, .jpg, .png
  • Dashboard generation will start automatically after uploading

  • For multi-sheet Excel files, select the sheet(s) needed for your dashboard and click Generate Dashboard

With Pasted Data

  • Select Dashboard & Report
  • Select Paste your data
  • Copy-paste a raw table from another source or type/paste text containing data information
  • After providing data, click Generate to create a dashboard

Create from an Existing File

If your Bricks file already contains data, dashboards can be created without starting from Home.

Single-Sheet Data

  • Using the Generate Button: Open the file → select the page containing the dataset → click Generate → Dashboard & Report
  • Using AI Prompt: Open AI chat → ask AI to create a dashboard for the specific sheet (Grid) or table
Example:
“Create a dashboard from the page named Sales Q1” or

Multi-Sheet Data

  • Using the Generate Button: Open the file → click Generate → Multi-Sheet Dashboard → select the sheets → click Generate Dashboard\ How to create multi-sheet dashboards in Bricks
  • Using AI Prompt: Open AI chat → ask AI to create a dashboard specifying the sheet names
Example:
“Create a dashboard using sheets Sales and Revenue.”

Create from a Blank File

If your Bricks file is empty, first provide data. You can either import data or use AI-generated dummy data.

Import Own Data

  • Use the Import Button in the left panel to bring your dataset (Excel, CSV, PDF, or image)
  • After import, click Create Dashboard in AI chat, or use Generate → Dashboard & Report flow
  • For multi-sheet files, use Generate → Multi-Sheet Dashboard and select the desired sheets

Use AI-Generated Dummy Data

  • Ask AI to generate a dataset according to your requirements
  • Use the Generate button or AI chat to create dashboards from the generated dataset

Best Practices

  • Include clear column headers; missing headers or merged cells can prevent dashboard generation
  • Avoid blank rows or inconsistent data types
  • Use descriptive sheet names for multi-sheet files
  • Keep numeric and date formats consistent; numeric columns must contain only numbers
  • Limit files to 25MB and 100K rows for best performance
